The SP-USB is is just headset to listen it does not havea microphone. We do have the SP-TCU which is the same product but it does have a microphone so it should work for phone conversations.
This product is just a USB headset that plugges into the computer and you can hear the sound on the headphones, it will not do any typing, you will need to manually type the document.
