Q: can the LFH388 recorder play a 50-foot cassette?
A:

As long as it is a Mini-cassette (not a micro-cassette), then it should be fine.  It will just spin until it gets to the end.

Q: I own 2x dictating recorders. One takes mini cassettes (Philips Classic 388) - just purchased from you. One takes micro cassettes (Sony M-330). Both have different sizes of 'ear' outlets. I have material on both types of cassettes that I would like to record onto my Mac. Do you have connection cords (for both units) that would be able to transfer the material?
A:

The KA333 cable goes into the audio in of your cassette player, and the other end of it to your PC.  You then set the recorder to play and your PC recording software to record.
