This foot control can be used with the Philips DPM8000 or similar Digital Pocket Memo system, by plugging into the rear of the ACC8120 docking station for Transcribing or dictating
DPM setting needs to be customized by navigating on the Digital Pocket Memo to; Menu > Device > Hands-free mode and choose "Dictate" or "Transcribe"When dictating use the top foot pedal for recording standby, then press the right foot pedal for recording, the left foot pedal will pause and fast-rewind, and chnage the controls to playback function.
When in playback function for in the Dictation mode, the right foot control will playback until the top pedal is pressed for recording standby, than it will switch over the right pedal to record function.
When the settings is set to Hands-free mode Transcribe, the top pedal will function as fast-forward, the right pedal will function as fast-rewind, and the right pedal as playback.
There is a switch at the bottom of the foot control to switch between "Toggle" or "Press-to-hold" customization.
