Dragon Legal Individual users also benefit from an enhanced transcription workflow and additional application support, while continuing to get powerful customization features that are even easier to create and access. Dragon Legal Individual is designed to significantly increase productivity for individual legal professionals who do not require centralized administration or group deployment features.

Sync with separate Dragon Anywhere mobile app
With Dragon Legal Individual, you can share your documents and sync your customizations with the separate, cloud-based Dragon Anywhere app, which provides professional-grade continuous dictation capabilities on your iOS or Android mobile device. This capability enables you to achieve seamless productivity—both in the office and on the road—for greater efficiency wherever your work takes you.

Transcription Tools:

  • Ability to accurately transcribe another single speaker’s voice from pre-recorded audio files or from podcasts by creating and training a profile using an existing recording of that single speaker, instead of needing the speaker to be personally present to read a passage.
  • To transcribe an audio file, Dragon checks if your profile needs a transcription source created and will lead you through a training process. If your audio recording is of a different speaker, you must create a new profile. A 90-second audio clip of that speaker (instead of the speaker being personally present to read a passage) is all that’s required for training.
  • .m4a format is now supported (in addition to .wav, .wma, .mp3, .dss and .ds2).

    Easier to use
  • A newly designed Dictation Box lets you easily create or edit text by voice even in applications not supported by Dragon.
  • Additional help with in-context commands when you ask “what can I say” at any time provides “a hint on the spot” and allows you to learn essential commands over time.
  • A list of relevant commands will immediately assist you if you ask “what can I say” when working in, for example, Outlook, Word, Word Perfect, Excel, Web browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox) and on the desktop.
    The “What can I say” window offers additional help with the following:
