Dragon Medical One supports the following hardware and software.

Operating systems
- 32-bit: Microsoft Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Make sure that the latest service pack is
always applied.
- 64-bit: Microsoft Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server
2016 and Windows Server 2019. Make sure that the latest service pack is always applied.
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2 (or higher) is required.
In Microsoft Windows 8.1 and 10, you can only use Dragon Medical One in the desktop
environment, the Microsoft design language-based user interface (Start screen) is not supported.

Display

To work with Dragon Medical One in hands-free mode, using a foot pedal in combination with a microphone, you must make changes to the Registry on your workstation. If you are working in a virtual environment, you must modify the registry settings on the virtual server for every Windows user that will be used to run Dragon Medical One. (for example, Ctrl + B) and depends on the capabilities of the integrating
application; speech focus anchoring is not supported for TX Text Control .NET for
WPF X15.

Dragon Medical One contains the medical vocabulary, and is being used by healthcare professionals, it is compatible with most EMR's, of course it's compatible with Microsoft Word or any other Windows application as long as you can use your keyboard to type you will be able to use you voice to do the typing. In some cases if you not using the high medical vocabulary the Dragon Professional Anywhere or Dragon Legal Anywhere could be sufficient for you if you not using an EMR system.
